UK online ad spend to overtake TV

The IAB say online advertising in UK will overtake TV by the end of next year.

I read in Business and Finance magazine back in January/February that industry experts are predicting there to be only a small growth in TV ad spend in Ireland for 2008.

I must say this is not something that surprised me, however the author of the article seemed to be. Is this something that surprises you Paul?

hi Kevin, I don't know to be honest. TV is not dead. Things are changing but it is not one medium replacing the other I think. Lots of people are watching tv with laptop beside them.
