Love volkswagen's steps fun. DO you know this one? It's been around for a while, but it's good fun too... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJMOI5_FKwg

I'm sick of those happy clappy ads where a group of people come and build something or change something and then sit back and observe "regular joe bloggs" checking out or enjoying what they built made without knowing they re being filmed. And everyone is happy chappy clappy again. I'm totally over this genre of ad. Miller have one out now (cleaning a building with art) and panasonic had one out a while ago which was Impressive maybe but definately not original.

Yes, happiness has been very on trend. Not just in ads, but books, movies etc. Booming self help industry. But you've a fair point. Is it all a bit same same now? Lacking originality? What about IKEA kitchens? I liked that. I might be a sucker for this stuff though. The vw steps one is actually interesting, showing that if you can bring fun into something, you can change the behaviour. Again, this 'behavioural economics' is also very now:) Just like that Mindless Eating book.
